Sinclair Stirrings

“… your enthusiasm has stirred most of them to action.”  2 Corinthians 9:2

Christmas Greetings

“Fear not, for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people…”  The angel’s message to the shepherds still rings true today.

We are both humbled and honored to have the privilege of proclaiming the “good tidings of great joy” in East Africa. We thank God for His seeing fit to use us in this way. And we thank you, beloved ones in Christ, for the important part you play in spreading God’s news through your partnership with us in prayer and giving.

Family News

We thank God for His constant leading of and provision for the Sinclair family. Celeste is 14 now. Sometimes it’s hard to believe that she is in high school and will be eligible for her restricted driver’s license in February. One of Celeste’s major accomplishments this year was earning her black belt in TaeKwonDo. Some of her other interests include singing, drama, and debate. She is a top student and is very involved in the church youth group.

Tim is a senior at Aletheia Christian Academy. He has done well academically and is being considered for several scholarships. Sports are among Tim’s greatest interests. This year he was honored to be chosen as captain both of his high school soccer and basketball teams. He is also heavily involved in the youth group at church and continues his sound-technician ministry during the worship services. Tim has not reached a final decision about college, though at the moment he is leaning toward attending Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.

Pam is enjoying her last year of teaching social studies at Aletheia Christian Academy. She is also very active in ministry at our church as well as being a full-time wife and mother.

Bruce continues working as a part-time assistant pastor at Christ Community Church. This arrangement has worked out very well for us. Even though we’ve been attending the church for less than a year, we have been so loved, accepted, and appreciated that it really feels like home.

Ministry Update

Outside of church responsibilities, the bulk of Bruce’s time is spent in making the necessary preparations so that we can get to the mission field. This fall we presented our ministry in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, and the Carolinas.

Just last week, we got an email from Uganda saying, “We need you. When can you come?” The best answer we can give is “Late summer if the Lord sees fit to bring in our financial support by that time.” (Keep on praying!)

Thanks to our friend, Preston Chesser, we now have a ministry web site. Check out www.SinclairUganda.org.  We have also developed a new ministry brochure, which we’ll be sending out early next year.

Thanks again for your interest in us.

Love,

Bruce & Pam
